Routes

The natural environment of Labastida extends over 3,800 hectares that include very rich and varied ecosystems and landscapes. Between Mount Toloño and the Ebro River, the immense Bastidense vineyard is installed, which tells us of a warm and sunny place fruit of a Mediterranean microclimate.

This bright and dry microclimate of Labastida favors the existence of crops such as olive trees, almond trees and some aromatic plants such as rosemary, thyme, rockrose... But it is the vine, with its 1,200 hectares, the dominant species in the local landscape with four million old and young twisted vines, mainly Tempranillo, producing some of the best Rioja Alavesa wines.
